From Sleeping Her Life Away to Living It Fully: Denise's Senior Vitality Comeback
Denise H. · 12:40
I just felt like I was sleeping my life away, basically.
The program gave Denise restoring quality of life and daily vitality, scientific credibility and cellular health principles, physical independence and active aging, long-term self-care tools and sustainable wellness, and social connection and joyful engagement with life.

Denise H.'s Story
Where It Started
Last summer, Denise felt like she was sleeping her life away. A prolonged illness following COVID had left her depleted in ways she struggled to fully describe — extreme fatigue, zero motivation, and an inability to get through even basic household chores. She was napping every day and going to bed early, watching her garden go untended and her social life quietly fade.
“I just felt like an old lady.”
It wasn't just the fatigue. Her gut had been flaring — she'd dealt with IBS on and off for years, dating back to a stressful period in her life. Her skin had broken out in blemishes, even on the backs of her legs. Her hair was thinning. Everything felt like it was declining at once, and she was running out of reasons to believe that could change.
What Changed
Denise is a biologist by training, so when she came across Dr. Pompa discussing cell health on social media, something clicked. She understood the science he was describing — and it made sense in a way other approaches hadn't.
What solidified it further was a personal memory. In her 40s, she'd had extensive dental work done, removing silver mercury fillings she'd had for years. Before that, she'd suffered from chronic sinus headaches throughout her 20s and 30s. After the fillings were removed, the headaches disappeared. Hearing the program's emphasis on cleaning up the body at a cellular level brought that experience rushing back.
“That kind of reinforced for me the whole idea that cleaning up my system, cleaning up my cells, would improve my physical health.”
Within two weeks of starting the prep process, she was already noticing a difference.
Life Now
The contrast between last summer and this spring is, in Denise's own words, remarkable. She gets up in the morning, cares for her pets, tends to her home and garden, and works through a full day — without napping. She's back at the gym doing bone density work. She's meeting friends for lunch, including a woman in her 90s she's known for years, reconnecting over shared memories of early Denver.
The unexpected improvements surprised her most. Her gut has “really quieted down.” The skin blemishes are gone. Her hair, which had been thinning, has started coming back. The aches and pains that had layered on top of everything else have eased significantly — though she notes she still manages her osteoarthritis and didn't expect the program to cure it.
"I would say that a year ago, I just felt like an old lady, and now I don't feel like an old lady anymore."
What she's taken away isn't just better health — it's a framework. She's set up her own tracking systems to stay on course, worked with her coach on long-term planning, and made changes to her water, food, and environment that she intends to carry forward.
"I'm going to do everything that I can to hold on to this good quality of life as long as I can."
Her message to other seniors feeling old, discouraged, and hopeless is simple: there's hope. She experienced it herself, and she wants others to feel the same.
